At Quest Search and Selection we work in partnership with our clients, providing strategic advice and specialist knowledge as well as operational recruitment services.

Our aim is to build long-lasting and effective relationships in order to develop a detailed understanding of each client’s business, culture and recruitment requirements. Our very high repeat business rate is a testament to our commitment to meeting our clients’ needs.

Retained Search

Board and Director level roles, and those which are time- and business-critical, require a focused and highly proactive recruitment approach.  Quest has a proven track record of finding senior candidates who add lasting value to their organisations.

A dedicated team led by a senior consultant is assigned to each role. We carefully research the market and role and develop a tailored search strategy to identify candidates internationally and across all consumer sectors and functions, including people not currently active in the job market. Suitable contacts will be screened and pre-interviewed before we present clients with a shortlist of fully qualified and vetted candidates, all of whom will be suitable for appointment.  We then arrange all aspects of the formal interview process and provide continual two-way feedback throughout, as well as assisting with the offer stage and providing ongoing follow-up after the appointment.

Contingency Search

At Quest we have an extensive network of contacts spanning the international Retail and Consumer sectors, including a proprietary database of over 700,000 vetted candidates which is constantly being developed and updated.  Thanks to these contacts, the experience of our consultants, and our continued investment in advertising and social media we can guarantee to reach the widest possible pool of candidates for each role, and can provide a quick turnaround of candidates already known to us.

Interim and Contract Roles

We know that clients sometimes require interim staff or contract support for project-based work which calls for particular skills on a short-term basis. At Quest we have a large pool of excellent candidates who prefer to work on an interim basis and are often available to start work immediately.

Employee and Candidate Assessment

We offer a range of tools to complement and strengthen the interview process including assessment centre design and facilitation, candidate testing (including SHL, behavioural profiling, aptitude testing and bespoke tests) and one-to-one biographical or competency assessments.

Training and Outplacement Services

We provide career assistance and practical job search guidance, particularly to businesses which are downsizing and require support for staff to find new roles. These outplacement services are carefully tailored to suit the needs of individual clients but may include workshops, mentoring services or one-to-one consultations. Typical packages may include:
