An opportunity has arisen for an experienced customer technical account manager to join an exciting and progressive produce business and provide an outstanding technical service to meet and exceed all customer needs. In this role you will be responsible for managing some major food retail brand accounts in the UK and Europe and constantly drive for improving standards and performance. Key Accountabilities: * Be the key technical point of contact for customers and provide a full technical service * Further develop and build customer relationships by delivering exceptional support and service * Manage and build deeper relationships with growers and suppliers * Identify opportunities for quality advancements, service enhancements, etc. and deliver improvement projects * Manage retailer KPI reports and action improvement plans when required * Support new product launches to ensure a ‘right first time’ approach Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience: * Exceptional communication skills and an ability to confidently address and influence at all levels * Strong interpersonal skills * Strong understanding of retailer ways of working and expected standards * Experience working in a technical customer facing / account management role * Experience within the produce category will be advantageous but not essential * Understanding of food supply chains * An eye for detail and tenacious approach * Strong understanding of food legislation and industry standards The business is at the forefront of modern food production and could offer the right candidate an excellent opportunity to continue developing their career in a very important role.
