The opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Branch Planner to join the head office team of this UK retail giant. Working within their Fashion office,role in delivering the seasonal planning strategy across the business; ensuring stores have correct gradings and stock packages, identifying market trends and working to build new store and refit stock packages to maximise sales and minimise potential markdowns. Key responsibilities will include: Completing the store grading process and ensuring this is reviewed regularly to maximise sales Reporting at all levels; enabling you to establish specific store and market trends from which you can plan stock most effectively Developing store packages for both new and exsisting locations, which are tailored to each store and their needs Working closely with your colleagues across various fashion projects Building effective relationships with key stake holders across the business as well as third party franchise partners Resolving any queries or complications that may arise during a new store launch or refit process The successful candidate will: Currently be working as an Assistant Branch Merchandiser/Planner within a retail head office environment, fashion/clothing experience is essential. Be confident when handling large amounts of data, with the ability to process this both quickly and accurately Have strong communication skills and therefore be able to present your findings to others in a clear and logical manner Be highly analytical, with a genuine interest in numerical reporting and stock planning Have experience using various Microsoft applications This is the right role for an existing Assistant Branch Planner who is keen to take that next step, working for a global retail brand.
