Job Description

National Account Manager - Department Stores - FMCG - £30000-£35000 + car allowance + great benefits. A market leading homewares manufacturer that operates across a number of FMCG categories is currently looking for a National Accounts Manager to join their team and manage a portfolio of their consumer goods brands. The main purpose of the role is to grow customer business and maintain existing relationships while maximising profitability of your accounts and exceeding your volume and value targets that are in line with divisional strategy. Key Responsibilities: - Manage overall responsibility of Profit and Loss account with full responsibility - Build strong National Account relationships while representing the companys best interests - Create and employ innovative sales strategies and analyse trends and identify sales opportunities - Work alongside marketing and merchandising teams to create promotional strategies You must possess the following skills and experience: - Experience of national account management within the FMCG industry and experience of department store accounts? - Highly numerate with strong analytical skills - Advanced communication and presentation skills - Influencing skills and a strong negotiator - Excelled in a fast pace sales culture and Commercially Aware This role would ideally suit a National Account Executive or National Account Manager from a FMCG background who has dealt with department stores and is looking for the next step up.
