This leading high street retailer is currently recruiting for a experienced Merchandise Analyst to join their fast-paced and dynamic head office team. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's most successful high street retailers. Candidates must have retail merchandising experience at Assistant Merchandiser or Junior Merchandiser level, with strong WSSI and planning skills. You must have a high level of IT proficiency and be able to use Microsoft Excel to a high standard.Working alongside the Senior Merchandise Analyst and core Merchandising team to produce reports and analysis to increase sales and profitability across all trading departments. Key responsibilities include processing large volumes of data, ensuring data integrity, providing stock, sales and product information and analysis and creating new reports for the Merchandising function. You will play a pivotal role in assisting the Merchandising to product accurate range plans and departmental forecasts. To be successful, you will: * Be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject field; e.g. Maths, Accountancy, Finance, Business Studies etc. * Demonstrate a high level of numerical and analytical ability. * Be able to use Microsoft Excel to a high standard, Advanced skills would be beneficial. * Have experience working in a commercial role in a retail head office environment at Assistant Merchandiser or Junior Merchandiser level. * Have strong WSSI and planning and forecasting skills. * Preferable have retail experience of a knowledge and interest in the retail industry. * Be highly organised and able to prioritise a busy workload.
