Purpose of Job: Responsibility for all aspects of demand planning and preparing of orders for all specific requirements of the business to ensure optimum levels of availability are achieved with minimal risk in respect of over stocking and obsolescence. Key Tasks: * Forecasts - Use and maintain the Demand Planning system as the primary forecasting system tool. * Run order proposals and generate suggested replenishment quantities. * Purchase orders - Prepare purchase orders as appropriate. * Resolve any receiving discrepancies and inform suppliers as and when necessary. * Expediting of late deliveries and updating system. * Retain documents in an orderly and logical manner. * To track purchase order status with suppliers from order to delivery including key production stages. * Provide daily dashboard information on product availability and inventory investment. * Analysis - Support procurement with category and product lifecycle analysis to assist new product development. * Work closely with the design and procurement teams to forecast trends, and plan stock levels for new products and exit plans for discontinued and excess stocks. * Analyse sales figures and trends and make recommendations for future seasons. * Update weekly out of stock priority review sheets. * Highlight and address supply chain issues with the relevant suppliers. * Report on and manage inventory levels highlighting risks and actions. * Adhoc reports when required. Skills and Experience: * Experience of SO99 demand planning software would be an advantage. * Previous experience in a Forecasting or Planning role. * Understanding of Supply Chain. * Numerate - Strong Excel Skills. * Team Player - Able to meet deadlines.
