This successful UK retailers is currently recruiting for a Wovens Designer to join its busy head office team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Designer looking for the next step in their career. Candidates must have previous wovens experience to be considered. As Wovens Designer, responsibilities will include: * Executing specific design briefs. * Researching trends within the market. * Developing design ideas for product ranges. * Creating and updating spec packs. To be successful, you will: * Possess previous fashion design experience across wovens from a UK retailer or key supplier to the high street. * Have an excellent knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator. Knowledge of Easyweave would be highly benefical but is not essential. * Be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant field. * Have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. * Have excellent attention to detail. * Be passionate about product and design. * Have a thorough understanding of clothing construction and manufacturing processes.
