Job Description

This established multinational events company is looking to bolster its sales team with an experienced new Head of Telesales in their main office in Dubai. Enthusiastically you will lead the sales team, striving to hit targets and boost revenue streams. You will be given control of the sales team for a successful event where you can use your strong sales experience to optimise profits. Responsibilities: * Forge and maintain strong relationships with current clients and increase volume of current delegate attendees through exceptional client servicing/management * Hit pre-agreed revenue and profit targets through selling delegate places across a wide range of conferences whilst building meaningful relationships with new and existing customers. * After reaching the key decision makers you will use your conference sales techniques in creating urgency, objection handling, time management, sales pitch writing and delivery and finally successfully closing the sales. * Manage your sales team, made up of 6+ Telesales Executives in all elements of the sales process * Taking charge of the sales team you will monitor progress and act as a mentor, running development sessions where appropriate. You will also be responsible for the training of new staff and will run development classes for them. Person Specification: * Comfortable working in high-pressure situations * Commercially aware * Successful history in face-to-face sales / relationship building * Experienced computer user with excellent skills in Microsoft Word / Excel * At least 18months managing a multicultural sales team * Proven record in a B2B sales environment with success in high value deals * A strong comprehension of the event sales cycle
