Job Description

One of the UK's most recognisable high street retailers is actively recruiting for experienced Web Designers to join its teamin the North West. As a Web Designer, you will support the E-commerce Design team in producing digital content in line with marketing plans and business strategies. Reporting into the Design Manager, your key responsibilities as Web Designer will be: * Providing solutions to marketing and creative briefs within agreed timelines * Analysing and carrying out changes to website content * Liaising and attending meetings with other teams within and outside of the Ecommerce Department as required * Monitoring the effectiveness of the website and usability of the site To be successful in this role, you should have: * A degree, or equivalent, within a relevant field * A strong, commercial portfolio and good experience as a Web Designer within the industry * Excellent communications skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite 4+ * Good knowledge of HTML & CSS * An understanding of the principles of good Web Design and the ability to meet briefs to a high standard Please note that experience in E-commerce is essential to be successful in this role.
