A position has arisen with a leading retailer for a Print Designer to be based in its Homewares department. You will design prints for use across hard goods and textiles including wall art, soft furnishings and hard goods such as candlesticks and vases. The role of Print Designer will be a key position in the business as it launches stand alone Homewares stores with plans to move into Gardenwares as well. There will be opportunities to travel, mostly to trade fairs and the Far East. The position calls for a Designer with experience designing for a well-known retailer or textiles company in the UK or Europe. To be successful in this role, you should be: * Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop * Experienced in designing prints, ideally for homewares but those fashion print design experience will also be considered * Able to hit the ground running and be a self starter A relevant degree would also be highly beneficial.
