Job Description

National Account Manager - London - up to £45,000 + bonus + benefits A leading health and beauty business is seeking a talented National Account Manager to be responsible for their key department store accounts. Responsibilities * Full responsibility for managing the development and growth of the entire company's portfolio within allocated accounts. * Full accountability for achievement of turnover targets. * Increase distribution and space in the accounts. * Preparing and implementing account plans to deliver required retail, wholesale and profit. * Meeting with customers to assess retail opportunities. Negotiating all aspects of brand support. * Develop a strong internal network with key departments to drive key strategic programmes. Preparation of retailer strategy meetings and workshops. * Preparing, reviewing and implementing annual strategic account plans. Working with retailer to agree joint business plans. * Carry out detailed analysis of account performance and make valid recommendations. Internally communicate challenges/opportunities within the account(s) portfolio. * Monitoring and understanding space profitability and productivity by door. * Insight and understanding of competitor activity and performance. Conduct competitor pricing/new product/promotional audits. * Work closely with the Sales Director on future brand strategies, developing promotional plans, pricing models and Supply Chain solutions. * Direct and support the field sales team to implement the strategies and actions required at local level. * Input into management of P&L, assist in driving profitability. Ideally you will have * Graduate qualification (or equivalent). * Experience of managing accounts independently ( department stores). * Experience in FMCG or retail sectors would be highly desirable, as well as an appreciation of the cosmetics industry. * Full driving license.
