Job Description

A leading drinks business in the UAE is looking for an Account Manager to join its Sales team and grow sales and profit for the business. The successful candidate will be expected to: * Manage key accounts in the Horeca channel in Dubai * Achieve targeted profits, sales turnover, market share and customer service levels as outlined and agreed to in the business plans * Work actively towards building professional relationships with potential and existing customers which will increase sales revenue * Agree on Service contracts with customers and ensure that delivery against the contract is as per service standards agreed * Organise wine tastings and where possible, conduct training on wine/other beverages for customers * Give inputs and recommendations for brand marketing plans in co-ordination with the Marketing team and implement the trade marketing plans for your area of operation with the objective of brand building * Ensure that information regarding forecasts is given to Managers in a way which contributes towards the accuracy of overall forecasting * Manage debtors as per the company's guidelines and financial policies * Analyse sales strategies with the Sales Manager to maximise sales * Constantly update on the latest trends and best practices within the business, so as to contribute to the excellence of the organization * Completely understand, respect and function within the team you operate, so that complete alignment with the organizational goals is achieved The ideal candidate will have: * Substantial Sales experience, preferably in an FMCG / liquor company * Advanced knowledge of MS Office * Planning and organising skills plus problem solving and analytical skills * The ability to excel in a service-focused culture using commercial acumen * Strong communication and influencing skills In return, the Key Account Manager will receive a generous salary and bonus package as well as initial relocation assistance.
