Our client is a part of a globally renowned group of Hotels & Resorts representing some of the best and most varied global portfolio of hotels. If pride and passion for work are your driving force, then you are the person we are looking for.
The Director of Rooms makes key strategic and operational decisions for the hotel.
Overcome pre-opening hurdles and develop the recipe for post opening success.
Manage team performance and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Ensure a notable & fantastic opening.
Highlight the successful achievement of the financial and non-financial metrics for the department.
Food & Beverage department to flourish in the region (people, profit & results).
The Director of Rooms will be responsible for:
All areas related to Rooms Division; Front Office, Housekeeping, Concierge, VIP Relations, Laundry, Transport, Telephones & Identified Retail Space.
Adhere to timelines and delivery of Critical Path identified for pre-opening & post opening.
Up to date with current business trends and stay ahead with predictive modelling.
Each guest experience is a primary focus, inject innovation, cutting edge and enrichment to this journey.
Managing guest feedback to bring to a complete resolution.
Interpret relevant market intelligence and share knowledge to remain as the leader in the market.
Pursuance of all opportunities to maximize revenue and optimize on yield.
Coordinate organizational & administrative functions related to all areas within the department.
Work closely with Director of Sales, Marketing & Director of Revenue to set and manage the pricing.
Graduate with an internationally recognised qualification.
Minimum 5 years' experience at senior leadership level in a luxury 5 star hotel. (As a Director of Rooms or similar)
Experience leading large & dynamic rooms operation in a luxury environment.
Capable of bringing in new strategies that will achieve prime returns.
Leadership & competence to create an environment suited to the brand.
Vision & ability to elevate the customer journey to be unparalleled above all international luxury hotels.
Acute to detail and able to deliver outstanding results.
Exceptional communication skills.
Confidence to actively meet and interact with all stakeholders.
Ability to foster lasting relationships at all levels within & outside of the organization.
Lead by example and inspire staff.
Build a strong team alliance, positive attitude.
Results driven, have a calm sense of urgency to deliver.
Thrive on challenging situations, take ownership and work for the solution.
The energy and desire to build an atmosphere that will astonish, ability to develop an impenetrable warm welcome to Dubai 5* luxury" for all guests.
Excellent insight into Revenue Management.
GCC or UAE experience preferred.
Pre- Opening experience is an advantage.
Ability to communicate in Arabic will be beneficial.
