Quest Search & Selection are working with a specialist supermarket retailer who are opening a New Store in South London.

This supermarket, food retailer is focused on organic foods, wellbeing and supplements and are growing their ranges and number of stores in the London & Home Counties.

As the Store Manager you will responsible for delivering the operations, people & sales strategy on the shop floor by surpassing service targets and hitting all other KPIs.

Responsibilities include in this store management position –

· Leadership of your team through engagement of your team through daily briefings.

· Have experience of managing larger teams of 15 – 20 +

· Have had full accountability for KPI’s

· Has been involved in setting up or managing Personal Development Plans for the team

· Store presentation standards, accurate, ticketing & merchandising of the store

· Staff training and quarter reviews with an understanding of Personal Development plans.

· Assisting with managing a store with 30 – 50k per week at a managerial or supervisor level.

· Minimising wastage and stock rotation

· Maximise the use of payroll budgets through effective labour planning

· Store compliance including Health & Safety

· Providing first class customer service.

This Store Manager Job opportunity would be suited to a –

· Store management, Deputy or Duty Management experience

· Preferred backgrounds for candidates include supermarket, convenience, specialist food stores or other FMCG backgrounds would be considered.

· Great operations experience looking after retail standards

· Can demonstrate actual achievement plus what measures they have implemented to improve KPIs.

· The right candidate should be used to running stores at 8-10% wage to cost ratio

· Have worked towards shrinkage and wastage targets.

· Maximise the store’s profitability by good control of all budgets according to store P & L reports

· Have manager the shop floor the absence of a manager

· Perform new staff inductions

· Has worked with challenging people situations including performance management, appraisals and daily target setting

· Having experience opening a new store
