Quest Search & Selection are partnering with this multi-brand retail business that prides itself with working with some of the largest, global fashion & non-fashion brands, within market leading divisions.

This Category Manager – Beauty role you will be accountable to own the category and expand the team as this is a new role with the opportunity to shape this.

The roles and responsibilities of this Branded Buyer/Merchandiser – Beauty position –

Lead the strategy for the department, identifying key opportunities and tactical plans to deliver sales targets.
Lead top level brand relationships & exclusive launches .
Forecasting intake, monitoring continuity out-of-stock levels
Re-forecasting WSSI figures monthly and agreeing OTB budgets.
Line managing the Commercial Management teams and taking accountability for their performance, and development.
Attend brand appointments and dealing with any escalations
Research and seek out new Beauty brands ensuring the business has a competitive offering
Focus on both the Online and Stores trading
Work collaboratively with the wider business, including Marketing, eComm & Commercial

The requirements of this Senior Buyer/Merchandiser – Beauty position –

Experience working in a multi-branded environment ideally in the health & beauty, perfume, cosmetics or skincare sector
- 5-6 years where you have worked within a Merchandising or Category Management or Branded Buying experience
- Not afraid to own a high-profile category and to build a team around you!
- Commercial mindset, with the ability to both recognise opportunities and risks.
- Analytical background and Excel proficient, confident navigating data to interpret and analyse different reports and protect data integrity.
- Strong ROI focus, motivated and results driven
