Quest are proudly partnering a growing Global Organisation that specialises within the CBD and Pharmaceutical, that through it’s continued growth in now hiring for a Senior Magento Developer to join their team in Oxford.
This is an exciting role to work collaboratively with the Digital Team on a variety of ecommerce projects.
The role offers flexible working with 2/3 days office based and the rest from home.
The Role
As the Magento Developer you will take a leading responsibility for new website builds, oversee existing sites and work closely with the project manager, design team and the content management team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Work on front-end development and integration tools
- Develop for all editions Magento 1 and Magento 2 and assisting moving sites over to the new code base
- Develop and configure new and existing Magento 2 eCommerce websites for B2C, B2B sites
- Build integrations with external systems using Magento API; including ERP, CRM, OMS, payment gateway system, middleware, and other systems
- Troubleshoot integration issues
- Update website features and security patches
- Create diagrams and matrixes for complex systems and integrations.
Skills and Experience Required
To be successful in your application for the Magento Developer role you will have:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with PHP, demonstrating expert knowledge and object oriented programming skills
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with Magento 2.1.x through to 2.4
- Experience working with eCommerce projects
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with server set up and maintenance
- Strong integration and architectural knowledge of the Magento platform
- Have expertise in PHP, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and HTML
- Experience in developing Magento modules/plugins in PHP
- Front-end web development experience
