Content Executive – Digital Magazine [Kickstart]

Working with the Editor to produce news article for the UK’s largest retail news magazine and other digital publications that are currently being launched. You will work on either the existing or new (pre-launch) magazines. News is published using WordPress directly on the company’s sites plus other media such as Linked In, Facebook and Twitter.
The client is a small, rapidly expanding publishing company employing 15 staff. Its main publication has approximately 1,000,000 views per month. Their offices are based near Oxford Street in Central London.
Write news articles and features for assigned industries.
Generate ideas for future content/stories/features for the target market.
Work closely with other team members to deliver written new content on time.
Edit / proof-read articles to ensure message is clear and aligned with company standards.
Keep abreast of developments by attending relevant networking events, studying papers and using other news sources.
Comply with industry and ethical guidelines.
25 hours per week; 4 days per week, 10am to 5.15pm (less 1 hour for lunch). 2 days per week office based, 2 days per week working from home. Training will be provided plus regular meetings with your manager and/or mentor either face to face or over Zoom.
Over-time opportunities up to 40 hours per week.
