Karen Millen, in partnership with The Step-up Club has, recently launched a campaign called Women Who Can, with the sole purpose to celebrate, inspire and empower women.
The Step-up Club is a career development platform for women founded and run by career experts Alice Olins and Phanella Mayall Fine. According to Trend Stop, “They are committed to creating a platform that boosts female empowerment, provides invaluable information and tips in regard to career development and offers women the opportunity to join a network of like-minded females.”
The Women Who Can campaign is an initiative bringing together the beliefs of the two brands. The campaign will initially run for six months, both online and in-store, with the simple mission to boost the confidence of women and equip them with the tools, knowledge and support to achieve their goals. It will use editorial content, social media and in-store events to explore the theme of empowerment and female unity. Further to this, “Karen Millen will release interviews from impactful women within various industries, with a focus on topics such as; unleashing confidence, growing resilience and defining success” as per TrendStop.
The founders of The Step-Up Club said the following in an interview with Marie Claire:
“Our ‘Women Who Can’ collaboration with Karen Millen embodies a shared ethos of female empowerment…the campaign was born from the realization that we need to be talking about our jobs and lives with the same passion and exposure that we talk about food, style and wellness.”
“Both Karen Millen and Step Up are strong, female founded brands with confidence at their cores – we know that women feel stronger and more empowered when we unite, share, collaborate and boost each other to greater things. What could be better than talking about confidence, careers and success in the same breath as fashion?”
With this unique combination of Karen Millen’s style and Step Up Club’s philosophy, this campaign is set to deliver a fresh sense of power and strength to women across the UK, showing that no matter who you are and what you do, you are a Woman Who Can.
