British premium contemporary brand Issa is making a comeback! The brand has been acquired by House of Fraser confirmed last week, adding Issa to its exclusive portfolio of brands.
Issa was launched in 2003 by Brazilian born designer Daniella Helayel. Known for her beautiful dresses in a selection of prints and fabrications, the brand quickly rose to fame and gained recognition within the UK. Issa quickly became popular amongst celebrities and hit the global headlines when the Duchess of Cambridge wore the Sapphire London dress. Â The brand was known for its classic prints and its wrap over dress silhouettes, originally appealing to the fashion-conscious customer in the premium price point bracket. Issa was snapped up by Net-A-Porter and Harvey Nichols, however the brand closed in 2015.
With House of Fraser’s revival of the brand, it will keep Issa’s signature bold and colourful prints, creating luxury pieces that is both versatile and highly covetable, however will be bringing the range to a wider audience through more commercial price points, offering an outfit that fits for both work and play!
The much-anticipated launch of Issa’s first range within House of Fraser stores will be Autumn/Winter 2017 and we are all very excited about it.
