London Fashion Week on film and online
A number of shows at this month's London Fashion Week will be streamed live via the web, while various fashion-themed films will also be broadcast digitally.
London Fashion Week gets underway on February 19th and it will bring something new to the table this year.
A number of the shows taking place over the course of the week will be available to view live on the internet, as the British Fashion Council (BFC) looks to boost the event’s web presence with its first ever Digital Schedule.
Some fashion-themed films will also be showcased online, offering people from around the world a chance to join in with the fun and games surrounding the eagerly-anticipated occasion in England’s capital city.
Chief Executive Officer of the BFC Caroline Rush said: “This is a significant step in developing our digital strategy. Enhancing designers’ experience and reach through London Fashion Week is an important area of development for the future.”
Facebook and Twitter campaigns run by the BFC will help drive audiences to the Digital Schedule.
Meanwhile, some of the shows confirmed for the London Fashion Week’s February schedule include Vivienne Westwood Red Label, Paul Smith and Jasper Conran. The full list can be found here.
