Assistant Merchandiser - Retail - South Wales

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Merchandiser to join the head office team of this well-known multichannel retailer.

Working closely with the Merchandiser, your main responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining the WSSI and controlling OTB
• Developing range plans in conjunction with the Buyer
• Building strong and effective relations with the Buying and Design teams
• Recommending promotions and re-buy

The successful candidate will be:

• Currently be operating at Senior Allocator or Assistant Merchandiser level, ideally within a fast paced, volume driven environment
• Highly analytical, numerate and enjoy working with complex figures and problem solving
• Have the ability to work successfully both within a team or on your own initiative
• Educated to degree level or equivalent
