Demand Planner

This leading established global food FMCG Business, with globally recognised brands, are currently recruiting for a Demand Planner.

The main purpose of the role is to drive accuracy of the short term Demand forecast for a specific range of customers across all categories.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering a robust and accurate forecast for products within the Business Team portfolio
• Developing supply strategies for individual titles that meet agreed SLA’S
• Working with Sales, Trade Marketing and Category Marketing to evaluate impact of promotions and base run rate changes on the demand forecast in order to maximise customer service
• Validating, challenge and model assumptions on future SKU level volume and production
• Delivering an understanding of base and incremental forecasts to the larger business team
• Directing liaison with customers to assess short term volume fluctuations to forecast
• Supporting long term forecasting process using statistical models, marketing intelligence, customer dynamics

Successful candidates will ideally have exposure in a supply and demand planning role within FMCG environment. You will possess outstanding team-working ability and excellent analytical skills with the ability to assimilate large amounts of data. You will be able to articulate results and ideas in a concise manner to both internal colleagues and external clients. Working experience using systems (Manugistics, SAP reporting/Planning programmes) would be an advantage.
