Accessories Technologist

This leading retailer is looking for an Accessories Technologist to join its Quality Assurance division.

The ideal candidate will already be working as an Accessories Technologist and have experience working with a known retailer in the UK or EU. Experience working on bags would also be advantageous.

As an Accessories Technologist you will be required to liaise with off shore factories on all technical and quality issues, approve test reports and ensure that all products are fit for purpose.

You will also effectively manage the product approval process, clearly communicate non-compliance to teams and suppliers, demonstrate influence in product development, take initiative to promote development of the product and demonstrate margin improvement.

As you will work closely with Buying & Merchandising and Design teams to progress effective product development, a strong team working ethos is essential.
