Non-Food Technologist - South East

This top-end UK retailer is looking to expand its technical function by recruiting a Non-Food Technologist.

This business is respected as a market leader in terms of quality, innovation and being a fantastic business to work for. Due to unparalleled success in their non-food category, they are currently seeking Non-Food Technologists.

You will be responsible for your own product range or category within the portfolio, including:

• Managing new and existing suppliers
• Auditing and ensuring that standards are the highest possible
• Ultimate responsibility for product quality, safety and legality in line with the companys and industry guidelines
• Inputting into the NPD process
• Acting as a Product and Process expert for customers internally and externally

Educated to degree level or the equivalent, your background will be the Non-Food industry, ideally with experience of both manufacturing and retail. Specific product knowledge is open but experience of BRC accreditation and QMS is essential along with strong communication and relationship management skills.
