Customer Supply Chain Manager
Leading FMCG business currently requires a strategic Customer Supply Chain Manager to join the business on a 1 year fixed contract initially. You will be responsible for providing end to end solutions that leverage joint capabilities and expertise in support of the businesses customer development and customer service strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitors performance metrics (KPI’s) to understand service and efficiency trends within customers and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Effectively manages data flow, communication and processes associated with new and
- Transitioning SKUs, material status and ensures synchronization with customer’s data.
- Close communication with Customer Demand/Demand planners and factories to ensure the demand and supply is balanced.
- Seeks input from customers about their needs and expectations to continually improve Customer
- Work with customers in an advisory/expert capacity on supply chain initiatives driven by Supplier
- Demand Control - the tracking of abnormal demand and management of forecast consumption.
- Link with global Customer Supply Chain for UK major retailers, to align local and global activities and strategy.
- Working with the wider customer service team, plus planning and distribution, to initiate cost to
- Serve solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness for both Customers and the business.
Successful candidates will ideally have exposure in a Customer focused Supply and Demand Manager role within an FMCG environment, which have had man management experience. They will possess outstanding team-working ability and excellent analytical skills with the ability to assimilate large amounts of data. They will be able to articulate results and ideas in a concise manner to both internal colleagues and external clients. Working experience using systems (SAP reporting/Planning programmes) would be an advantage.
