Marketing Manager - Yorkshire

My client is a leading discount retailer, and there is currently an urgent need to recruit a Marketing Manager to start in the role as soon as possible.

As Marketing Manager, your key responsibilities will be to manage the implementation of the marketing plan - this currently consists of a leaflet programme (currently these are distributed via door to door or inserted into national newspapers). Going forward, you will be required to assist with the development of a CRM programme.

You should be a bright energetic person who can be seen as a future Head of Marketing. The successful candidate will have previous retail experience.

You will possess proven ability to deliver on time, as well as the need to understand the speed and hands on nature of retail - the marketing team is relatively small and there is nobody to delegate to!

You will also need to have experience in briefing creative working with advertising agencies. A good understanding of print and deadlines is essential, as is experience in customer targeting and door to door marketing.

It would also be highly desirable to possess Direct Marketing experience for this role.
