Warehouse Operations Manager - Gretaer Manchester

This leading multi-national blue chip FMCG business currently requires a Warehouse Operations Manager in Manchester.

The core purpose of your role will be to ensure that orders are accurately assembled and despatched to customers in a timely and productive manner. The key objectives of the role are surpassing customer needs, people development and continuous improvement of safety and productivity.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Previous experience of managing a large team within the Warehousing and Distribution sector
• Proven People Management skills including team development, performance, conduct and absence management
• Proven experience of capacity planning in line with budgetary constraints
• Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to all tasks
• A self driven, results orientated with outlook and a clear focus on high quality while maintaining budget controls
• Natural forward planning and organisational skills
• A degree or equivalent
• Strong understanding of the FMCG industry
