Junior Buyer

This highly successful retailer based in Yorkshire requires an experienced Junior Buyer to join their Head office team.

As Junior Buyer you will be responsible for:

• Managing existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers in line with the category strategy
• Planning, product development and range building as well as weekly, monthly and seasonal trading.
• Establishing and landing key trends
• Preparing, participating and presenting in range reviews and sign off meetings.
• Liaising with both Design and Merchandising teams to discuss strategy.

To be successful you will have:

• A degree or equivalent
• A clear understanding of the market and competition
• Buyer experience in a retail environment at established Buyer level
• Strong time management skills and be highly organised and structured
