As Business Development Director, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue for a new Social Media venture with a focus on UK business. You will do this by building strategic, long term relationships with top companies in the FMCG/Retail, Financial Services, Healthcare and Consumer Technology industries.
You will guide client development and sales strategy for one or more of these key verticals with a view to developing the industry-leading social media and online brand metrics technologies on which this venture is based. This will create added-value services for marketing strategy including brand monitoring, consumer insight research, product & service innovation, campaign performance measurement, brand tracking, social business transformation and strategy development.
To be in the running for this role, you will be comfortable in demonstrating the following:
- Identifying developing and leveraging relationships with the senior Marketing and Research Executives in your verticals
- Demonstratable experience in the FMCG/Retail, Financial Services, Healthcare, and/or Consumer Technology industries
- Creating long term sales strategy and prospecting plans
- Developing impactful communications and presentations, matching our capabilities to client issues and requirements
- Maintaining up to date prospect interactions
- Completing all pipeline and sales forecasts accurately and on time
- Working to build a consultative sales approach with clients and colleagues
