Merchandiser

A market-leading retailer requires an experiences and passionate Merchandiser to join its team in the West Yorkshire.

As Merchandiser, your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing best sellers, core lines and new lines weekly to ensure maximum availability of stock.
• Reviewing in-season performance against budget.
• Managing OTB and regularly reviewing and providing feedback on WSSI.
• Working closely with the buying team to ensure your department buy is planned to maximise sales and margin.
• Communicating effectively and regularly with stores.

To be successful, you will:

• Be currently operating at Merchandiser level with another successful retailer.
• Have the ability to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the end-to-end retail merchandising process.
• Have excellent IT Skills, particularly Excel and other Microsoft packages.
• Have a passion for retailing and an aptitude for working to deadlines while under pressure.
• Good analysis and numeracy skills and enjoy working with complex figures and problem solving.
