Lead Food Technologist - Ireland

This prominent business in Ireland requires a Lead Food Technologist to manage a team of Technologists across its full own-brand spectrum incorporating ambient, chilled and frozen food.

As Lead Food Technologist, you will be responsible for:

• Being the ultimate authority to ensure all own-brand products are consistently hitting the approproate standard as set by the business
• Ensuring the team complies stringently with all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements for the industry, and updating the team in developments of such laws
• Communicating a clear business goal to the rest of the team and ensuring the team delivers towards that goal
• Coaching the team in a way that allows them to develop as potential successors to the lead role in the team
• Keeping well informed of all health & safety guidelines

To be successful, you should have:

• A degree (or equivalent) in Food Technology or Business, with a Project Management certification strongly desired
• Experience of managing a team
• Previous Project Management experience
• All relevant Microsoft Office, negotiation, financial and supply chain analysis skills
