Head of E-commerce - Hertfordshire
Job Type: Permanent
My client, a rapidly growing retailer, is looking for an experienced and ambitious Head of eCommerce to take the overall strategic responsibility for developing their multichannel offering. This includes being responsible for the eCommerce P&L and well as the optimisation of the customer journey for their new website.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver ambitious sales and growth targets with an increase in conversion rates and spend per head
- Understand the needs of the customers ensuring a quality customer journey and user experience.
- To be able to see the greater picture and deliver change and innovation to the site and its products
- Ensure the online marketing is optimised to its full potential through SEO, PPC and affiliate so profits are maximised
- Oversee the fulfilment operation for the website to improve efficiency and level of customer service
- Lead and support a large online team to the growth of their eCommerce offerings.
Experience Needed:
- Proven experience in implementing change to a multichannel retailer
- Experience in; site optimisation, user experience, fulfilment and delivery, Customer acquisition, retention and conversion.
- Ability to influence at board level whilst being an exceptional communicator
- Good profit & loss management experience
- Highly commercial and numerate
