Non-Food Technologist - London

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Non-Food Technologist to join an industry leader in its field, supporting the major retailers and manufacturers in the UK and Europe.

Reporting to the Head of Technical, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Retail client services covering the whole Non-Food portfolio
• Building and managing relationships with Technical teams within retailers and their manufacturing supply bases
• Offering support and guidance to Technical teams, keeping them continually up to speed with ever-changing legislative requirements
• Agreeing legal and corporate requirements, managing specifications, pack copy and artwork

The ideal candidate will be:

• Educated to degree level or equivalent
• An experienced Technologist within a Non-Food category of a retailer or supplier
• Extensively experienced at labelling and specifications and UK/EU legislation
• Au fait with quality management systems and have experience of legal enforcement action
• From a strong Technical background and be a sound communicator
