Assistant Merchandiser - Menswear - North West - £20,000-£25,000

One of the UK's expanding retailers is actively seeking an experienced Assistant Merchandiser to join its Menswear team.

The successful candidate will ensure that the department's objectives are achieved through effective management of stock.

Reporting into the Merchandiser, your key responsibilities will include:

• Visiting competitor stores to compare merchandising techniques
• Updating merchandising systems through effective use of WSSI and OTB plans
• Liaising with suppliers and distribution to resolve and prevent delivery issues
• Allocation of stock across stores
• Supporting the Merchandiser in the presentation of the range for review for Senior Management

The ideal candidate will possess strong Excel and systems experience and have current Merchandising experience from another leading stores based retailer, home shopping or internet business. You will be highly analytical, enjoy working with numbers and be comfortable in presenting your findings to Senior Management teams.
