Category Manager - Top Grocery Accounts

A global FMCG drinks business is looking for an experienced Category Manager to join its team and take control of key strategic accounts while developing the Category vision.

As Category Manager you will:

• Take the lead in the Category relationship with key customers
• Liaise with HO stakeholders to gain increased ranging and preferential space
• Build strong relationships and influence customers to move strategies in directions that support the brand portfolio
• Lead Category reviews through data analysis and insight for key strategic customers
• Develop strong Category arguments
• Work closely with the Customer Marketing department to develop creative in-store activity

The ideal candidate will:

• Have the ability to communicate actionable Category insights in a compelling way
• Be a strong negotiator and have exceptional planning and execution capabilities
• Be customer focussed with natural relationship building skills
• Have proven Category or Insight experience within FMCG with the ability to influence at all levels
