Category Manager (Top Grocers) - South East - £40,000-£45,000

A global drinks business is looking for an experienced Category Manager to join its team and take control of key strategic accounts to develop its category vision.

The successful candidate will:

• Take the lead in the category relationship with key customers
• Liaise with HO stakeholders to gain increased ranging and preferential space
• Build strong relationships and influence customers to move strategies in directions that support the brand portfolio
• Lead category reviews through data analysis and insight for key strategic customers and will develop strong category arguments
• Work closely with the customer marketing department to develop creative in-store activity
• Reporting directly into the Category Controller

The ideal candidate will have proven category or insight experience within FMCG and will have the ability to influence at all levels. You will be able to communicate actionable category insights in a compelling way and be a strong negotiator with exceptional planning & execution capabilities.
