Senior NPD Technologist - London - £35,000-£40,000

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within this branded Foodservice business, which has a clear vision around creating good quality, fresh and innovative food.

Reporting to the Head of NPD, you will be responsible for the whole product development process from idea generation to launch. Working closely with the Buying and Technical teams, you will ensure that all new and existing products are safe, of sound quality and adhere to industry and company standards. Existing product improvement will feature as well as new innovation and input into the 2 year development strategy.

To be successful you should:

• Have a degree (or equivalent) in Food Science or Food Technology
• Currently work within Retail, Manufacturing or Foodservice
• Have a sound understating of the NPD process
• Have the ability to create new, exciting, commercially viable products in line with company procedures and time lines
• Possess excellent relationship management skills and be comfortable communicating and negotiating with people at all levels.
