Space Planning Manager - West Midlands

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Space Planner, with substantial Retail experience, to embark on a brand new project based within the Midlands.

Working within the existing team, you will be expected to lead a small team of Space Planners to ensure that the Retail micro space and range is aligned to customer requirements, to drive maximum productivity.

The successful candidate will:

• Effectively communicate with stores to roll out planograms
• Work quickly to keep in line with category review dates
• Manage a team of two or three Space Planners
• Work closely with Buying Directors, as well as external suppliers and manufacturers
• Effectively contribute to the delivery of the annual sales budget

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have significant experience in a similar role, including Management experience. You will have knowledge of relevant merchandising systems, preferably Spaceman and be highly analytical and commercially aware.
