International Sales Manager - London
An international wholesale business which distributes household brands all over the world and has quickly become leading in its field is looking to appoint an International Sales Manager to be based at offices in London/Lincolnshire.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing relationships within the Military & Diplomatic markets worldwide.
Other key areas of responsibility are as follows:
- Developing relationships with bodies or individuals able to assist in market development/intelligence (eg British Embassy/Chamber of Commerce)
- Assisting in the commissioning of market research reports from third parties
- Conducting in-house market research into new or exisiting markets
- Preparing annual budgets for sales and profitability
- Responding to and following up sales leads that you have generated or received
- Developing and delivering effective sales presentations
- Acting as the key contact for customers in your region
- Planning and developing specific sales strategies and account plans for each customer and each market
- Monitoring monthly and quarterly performance against budgets
- Building and maintain strong relationships with key figures within your customer base
- Quickly developing knowledge of new and best-selling products to enable high quality range advice
- Ensuring high levels of customer service are maintained
The ideal candidate will have worked in highly interpersonable roles and have a strong understanding of the workings of the military. It will also be helpful if you have experience of tendering with NGO's and distributing products to hard to reach areas. It is also possible that you will have traded in travel retail.
