Key Account Manager - North East - £35,000-£40,000
An established leader in recognised spirits, wines & liqueurs on the market is seeking a Key Account Manager to join its team in the On-Trade sector.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, the successful candidate will be accountable for a defined geographic territory, managing Select and Exclusive accounts, and growing sales in line with set KPI's.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Budget management and P+L understanding for regional accounts
- Producing customer account plans that compliment brand plans and channel strategy
- Delivering sales results as set out by targets
- Delivering brand building plan, activation programme, and presentations.
- Educating customers on brand training
- Building harmonious working relationships both internally and externally
- Creating tailored solutions and based on sound category advice
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities
- Accurate recording and feedback of field data
- Effective journey and diary planning
The ideal candidate will be highly numerical and commercially aware, be able to operate autonomously and be a compelling and concise communicator who is self-motivated.
Ideally, you will be educated to degree level or equivalent with experience of working with high end on-trade hotels and restaurants. Prior experience operating at Key Aaccount Manager level and activating brands in the on-trade would be advantageous and you must hold a full clear UK drivers license.
