Junior Merchandiser - Fashion Accessories - West Midlands

A leading multi-national fashion retailer seeks an experienced Junior Merchandiser to assist the Merchandiser in trading the company through effective management and planning of stocks.

This will include managing intake, allocations to stores, sales, markdowns and promotional activity.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

• Process new orders through the system
• Identify repeat orders and present suggestions to the management team
• Provide detailed analysis of stock and sales data
• Produce weekly trading reports and attend departmental meetings
• Visit stores to obtain feedback on products
• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers

The ideal candidate will have previous Merchandising experience, preferably with another large UK-based retailer. You will have excellent communication skills as the role requires liaison with all levels of the business, including overseas partners and suppliers.
