Simon founded the company in 1994. His initial career was as a Marketing Executive for 4 years. Using his marketing experience he became a Recruitment Consultant specialising in Marketing and Advertising for Michael Page Plc. Then in 1994 Simon set up Quest Search & Selection Ltd.
Sue Bennett graduated in History from Exeter University in 1994. After travelling in Africa, she worked in sales for Reed Elsevier, in their retail division. She joined Quest in 1998 as a trainee consultant in the Retail Head Office team. She became the manager of that team and then continued to progress and take responsibility for other teams within Quest, ultimately becoming Managing Director for all trading in January 2005.
Tom graduated with an Honours degree from Leeds University. Having tried (and failed!) to pursue a career as a professional golfer, Tom held two management positions within sports retailers with both an independent and a large national. After a period of time living and working overseas he joined Quest in 2001. Initially joining our Retail Head Office team as a trainee consultant, Tom has worked his way around and through the business up the management ladder to his current role as Commercial Director, he has been responsible for establishing, maintaining and developing a large number of our longest client relationships.
Paul has been with Quest since February 1999, starting off as a recruitment consultant within our Logistics and Procurement Division, before setting up our first regional office in Manchester. Prior experience includes a 4 year stint at Harrods Knightsbridge as a Department and Floor Manager across sportswear and menswear and several years working in the Creative and Marketing Department for Australia's leading cinema group, WarnerVillage.
Having gained a Masters in Marketing, David joined Quest in April 2002. Having initially worked his way up the ranks in Quest's retail head office division, managing a diverse account portfolio. David took over the management of the commercial operations division in 2005. Commercial Operations is split into 4 main areas - Marketing, Sales, Purchasing & Logistics and Food Manufacturing - and David is currently the U.K. director across all of these teams.
