Quest Charity
Quest Search & Selection employees have nominated CLIC Sargent as the company charity for 2008/2009.
Employees were asked to nominate their charity of choice, and CLIC Sargent was the overwhelming choice, due in no small part to the support they had provided to the family of one of Quest’s staff members.
Every day 10 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer. CLIC Sargent is there for them… with clinical expertise, emotional care and financial support in hospital, at home and in the community all over the UK. And because we listen and respond, we answer the real needs of children, young people and their families facing this incredible challenge.
As the UK’s leading children’s cancer charity, CLIC Sargent wants to see a world where all children and young people with cancer live life to the full. We campaign to give them a strong voice nationally and locally, and fund research into improving treatment and care.
As advocates, CLIC Sargent gives children, young people and their families a strong national voice, helping them to be heard and understood. Their research looks at ways of improving treatment and managing side-effects, to help patients and to improve quality of life for survivors.
The fundraising kicked off with a hard fought inter-company rounders evening in Ravenscourt Park. Quest staff will hold regular events throughout the year to raise funds, including pub quizzes, auctions, raffles and a netball tournament. We’re grateful for the contributions of prizes made by our clients throughout the year.
In addition to this, Quest also supports numerous clients' charities as well as endorsing the charitable efforts of our staff members including the Race for Life in aid of Cancer Research which a number of our employees take part in.
